A managed care company is supporting efforts to honor the memory of 184 lives lost Sept. 11, 2001, when a jet crashed into the Pentagon.

The federal services division of the company, Health Net Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., will be giving $250,000 to the Pentagon Memorial Fund, according to Health Net.

The total cost of the memorial is estimated to be $32 million.

Health Net provides or administers health coverage for 6.6 million individuals, including 3 million members of the armed services, retirees and dependents through the Tricare military health care program.
