A health insurer has agreed to use the Treatment Cost Advisor service from Subimo L.L.C.
Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, will be offering access to the Web-based cost estimator both to members of health plans and to members of the self-insured plans that it administers for employers.
Subimo, Chicago, can help plan members determine the cost of specialist visits as well as of primary care services, according to Principal.
