Likely U.S. voters say they care about health care as much as they care about national security.

About 27% of voters named health care as the one issue that should receive the greatest attention from the government at this time, and about 27% named ensuring homeland security, according to a survey of 800 likely voters conducted in May by researchers hired by the Catholic Health Association of the United States, Washington.

Only 13% of participants named cutting taxes as the one issue Congress should address between now and the next election, the CHA says.
