The double murder trial for a former employee of the Pence Wealth Management advisory firm, part of LPL Financial, is scheduled to get underway Friday in Orange County, California, online court records show.
Ramy Hany Mounir Fahim of Irvine, California, has pleaded not guilty to two murder counts and denied all special circumstances that would make him eligible for the death penalty in the fatal stabbing of co-worker Griffin Cuomo, 23, and Cuomo's roommate, Jonathan Bahm, 23, at their Anaheim apartment in April 2022.
The trial in the case (#22NF1025) comes nearly four years after the killings. A representative from the county district attorney's office didn't immediately respond to an email seeking information Thursday. Court records show the jury trial starting at 9:30 a.m. Pacific time.
Cuomo started work as a marketing and media assistant at Pence Wealth Management in May 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile. Bahm described himself in his profile as a recent computer science graduate looking for work in the games industry.
Fahim's LinkedIn profile describes him as starting a job as a research associate for Pence Wealth in November 2021.
