JPMorgan Chase plans to cut 120 jobs in Jersey City, New Jersey, effective May 3, according to a recent notice.

The cuts were reported in a Worker and Retraining Notification Act notice posted this month in New Jersey, the state's Department of Labor & Workforce Development website shows.

The financial services company maintains a large corporate presence in Jersey City and announced hundreds of job cuts there last year.

JPMorgan announced plans to lay off 387 people in Jersey City effective various dates in 2025. The financial services company also notified California regulators it was eliminating 434 jobs in San Francisco in 2025.

JPMorgan representatives didn't respond to an emailed request for comment from ThinkAdvisor on Tuesday.
