Kitces.com, the advisor education platform, has announced a partnership with the New Planner Collective, a professional community dedicated to helping students and early-career professionals enter and thrive within the financial planning profession.

The organizations say they will work together to bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world practice — helping future planners gain both technical and professional grounding.

Through the collaboration, New Planner Collective participants will receive discounted access to Kitces.com premier memberships, giving them a direct pathway to continue their professional education and stay engaged with the broader financial planning community.

Michael Kitces, chief financial planning nerd at Kitces.com, said in a statement that the idea for the collaboration grew out of a shared observation: While universities teach the fundamentals of financial planning, many graduates still feel uncertain about how to build a career, find their professional footing and deliver advice that truly makes a difference.

"New Planner Collective is helping future planners take their first confident steps into the profession," Kitces said. "We share the belief that great financial planning doesn't begin and end with passing the CFP exam. It continues through a lifelong commitment to learning, integrity and delivering real financial advice that changes lives."

Matt Fizell, co-founder of New Planner Collective, added that his group's mission has always been to help new planners find their fit and thrive in roles that align with their strengths and values.

"Partnering with Kitces.com allows us to extend that mission even further — connecting our students to a trusted resource that's been shaping and supporting the advisor community for decades," Fizell said.

The collaboration will launch later this year, with New Planner Collective integrating select Kitces.com resources into its student engagement programs and professional development communications.

Both organizations expect to build on this foundation in the coming year with initiatives designed to help early-career planners turn technical education into meaningful, advice-centered careers.
