The national registered investment advisor firm Edelman Financial Engines announced Thursday that it has moved onto Orion’s wealth management technology platform.
Matt George, senior vice president and head of product at Edelman Financial Engines, said in a statement that EFE is now “fully onboarded” to Orion’s platform.
“This collaboration gives us an opportunity to better integrate our systems, strengthen the tools our planners rely on, and enhance the experience we deliver to our clients,” George said. “We’re excited to accelerate our efforts in the year ahead.”
Natalie Wolfsen, CEO of Orion, cited EFE as an RIA industry leader that is delivering high-quality, human-centered financial planning at scale.
“Our focus at Orion is to simplify complexity so advisors can stay centered on the people they serve,” Wolfsen said. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to personalization, better workflows and meaningful client outcomes. We’re excited to work side by side with the EFE team to help them scale their impact.”
Wolfsen and George said the ultimate goal was to help EFE planners spend more time where it matters most — with clients and prospects.
To that end, the collaboration will include portfolio management and trading support to simplify rebalancing and execution while preserving household-level preferences and tax awareness. Likewise, EFE advisors will gain real-time data sharing capabilities and access to advisor engagement tools and the Orion reporting suite, among other benefits.
This “unified experience” is designed to streamline advisor workflows, increase productivity, and enhance client service, the executives said.
