It’s been said 30% to 40% of Americans make New Year's resolutions, including about 50% of millennials.

It's also been found in research that only 9%-12% of people who make resolutions keep them. Why? Many people set too many goals or choose something unrealistic. Others simply forget about them.

As a financial advisor, you might resolve to be more productive or to use your time more efficiently. What does that actually look like?

To make your resolution attainable, you can break it into smaller ones. The suggestions here should make you a lot more productive without placing additional burdens on your time. You don't have to do them all at once. Try focusing on one at first and adding another when the first one becomes a habit.
