If the outsize role that the Magnificent 7 tech companies play in the stock market wasn’t evident enough, a look at the largest U.S. exchange-traded funds leaves no doubt.

Mag 7 players Nvidia, Microsoft and Apple are among many of these funds' biggest holdings, and Amazon, Meta (Facebook), Alphabet (Google) and Tesla are well represented, according to data compiled by VettaFi.

While AI chip developer Broadcom isn’t an official Mag 7 company, the largest ETFs also include its stock among their top investments.

Indeed, the Magnificent 7 comprised 34% of the S&P 500’s value in mid-August, nearly three times as much as they did a decade earlier, according to Motley Fool.
