Fidelity Investments has launched a new intelligence tool and digital onboarding enhancements aimed at improving service to wealth management firms and advisors on the company's Wealthscape brokerage portal.

The new Wealthscape Intelligence and onboarding upgrades are designed to help streamline advisor workflows, Fidelity announced Monday.

Wealthscape Intelligence helps advisors make smarter decisions by delivering “next best actions” to save time and better support their clients, while the client onboarding changes will help streamline the process, Fidelity said.

Fidelity said its research shows that advisors at digitally oriented firms or embracing technology best practices have seen strong business results, growing significantly faster than peers in both clients and assets under management.

“Advisors tell us they want to be even smarter and faster to grow their businesses, and they look to Fidelity for innovation that enables this,” said Jess Liberi, head of IWMS Platform & Technology at Fidelity Investments, overseeing technology for Fidelity’s clearing and custody business.

“That’s exactly what we’re delivering through Wealthscape Intelligence and our new digital onboarding enhancements, with solutions designed to meet advisors where they are and help them move forward with greater speed, insight and confidence," she said.

The Wealthscape Intelligence tool includes a personalized dashboard with client portfolio insights, analytics and reports in a unified view, and a centralized location for real-time and historical insights to help advisors stay active and informed. It also provides high-level trend analysis on assets under administration and money movement to help identify possible opportunities and areas needing attention, the company said.

The tool also includes consolidated operational reports on AUA, trades, orders, billing and money movement.

New digital onboarding features include account views that provide clients with a clear, interactive picture of their investment details, moving beyond static PDFs, and the ability for advisors to onboard multiple clients at once. The onboarding enhancements also include the ability to build proprietary, firm-branded flows, a streamlined signing process and deep integration with the advisor's technology.
