RightCapital, a financial planning software provider, has launched a prospecting tool dubbed RightExpress, designed to help advisors craft topic-specific financial plans for potential clients with minimal time and data inputs.
Plans can be tailored around key themes, according to the announcement, such as retirement income and Social Security. The goal is to help lower the barriers to new-client engagement and allow advisors to showcase value in the planning process.
“Financial planners face a difficult challenge: delivering exceptional service to existing clients while growing their business,” Shuang Chen, co-founder and CEO of RightCapital, said in a statement. “With RightExpress, advisors select a specific planning topic, gather limited data inputs, and quickly deliver powerful client visuals and reports.”
Other planning topics in the tool include debt management and portfolio risk, with each planning module requiring only two to three data entry steps. Relevant disclosures are automatically generated.
Once clients are engaged, any RightExpress plan can become a full RightCapital plan, with the advisor and client adding additional information to map out the full financial picture. This easy switch makes the transition from prospect to full planning client a smooth experience across the board, Chen said.
