Philadelphia-based Janney Montgomery Scott is suiting up as the official wealth management partner for its hometown NFL team, in an effort to expand brand awareness and get fans thinking about financial planning.

Under a multi-year strategic partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, the wealth management firm is receiving exclusive naming rights to the southwest Tunnel Club and premium lounge at Lincoln Financial Field, now named the Janney Tunnel Club.

The VIP club will feature on-field seating in the south end zone on game days and private events on non-game days, Janney said in announcing the arrangement earlier this week.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Janney Montgomery Scott as an official partner of the Eagles,” Brian Napoli, the Philadelphia Eagles' senior vice president, corporate partnerships, said, adding that Janney's "client-focused, results-driven values ... align with the team’s commitment to putting fans first."

Janney President and CEO Tony Miller said success on the field and in personal finance "comes from preparation, planning and having the right team in place to achieve your goals. We’re proud to partner with one of the most respected and successful organizations in professional sports to expand our brand presence in our hometown and share Janney’s story more broadly with Eagles fans and sports fans across our footprint.”

The wealth management firm currently works on over $150 billion in assets under advisement and has more than 900 advisors.

The organizations expect to collaborate on community education and engagement initiatives and promote conversations about importance of financial planning with fans, partners, clients and the broader Philadelphia community.
