Older investors are feeling mounting anxiety around retirement security, according to survey results released Monday by Global Atlantic Financial Group.
The survey revealed that soaring prices, surging health care costs and concerns that a recession may be in the offing have many investors worried.
“Our study shows many people are deeply concerned about their ability to save for retirement and maintain financial stability in the years ahead,” Jason Bickler, co-head of individual markets at Global Atlantic, said in a statement. “We must prioritize innovation and developing effective strategies that can give people the tools they need to achieve financial security.”
The survey was conducted in December among 1,009 investors 55 to 75 with $250,000 to $2 million in investable assets who work with a financial professional.
