Janney Montgomery Scott LLC announced Thursday that 27 financial advisors joined the wealth management firm in 2024.
The advisors, who collectively brought over $4.3 billion in assets to the private client group, joined Janney from Baird, Citizens Wealth Management, Fidelity, Kestra, LPL, Merrill Lynch, Osaic, Raymond James, Steward Partners Global Advisory, Truist, UBS and Wells Fargo.
The firm also opened a new branch office in Chicago, led by Ned Kennedy, who joined as complex director, and named Tom Galvin as Midwest regional director.

Janney has nearly $160 billion in assets under administration and more than 900 advisors.
Four advisors joined Janney from Raymond James, three each from Wells Fargo, Kestra, Osaic and Truist, two each from Baird, Merrill, Steward Partners Global Advisory and LPL, and one each from Fidelity, UBS and Citizens. Two account executives also joined Janney with advisors who switched firms.
