Researchers from The London School of Economics, Harvard Medical School and Stanford University School of Medicine sought to find out if activity could work as well as certain drugs at preventing and treating serious chronic illnesses that plague many across the globe. They found that there were no detectable differences between individuals who exercised and those who used drug-based therapy.
