Abortion foes guide states in pushing new restrictions

Anti-abortion fervor has been gaining momentum as of late on both the state and national scale. However, it is the individual states — 17 of which have enacted 45 new curbs on abortion this year — where the battle is being waged through a carefully calibrated playbook of measures that seek to chip away at certain aspects of abortion. It is strategy that seems to be picking up steam both legally and in the minds of the general public.
