Doctors fed-up with what they consider the red-tape of the insurance industry are moving to system where patients have to pay cash or use their debit cards. This has been done on a smaller scale for some specialized (mainly cosmetic) doctors in large urban areas across the country but the trend seems to be picking up steam.
