EU warns Spain over hospitals’ rejection of EU health card

With cash-strapped Spain's economy in dire straits, one would think that the Spanish government would do all it could to keep one of its strongest money makers, tourism, running smoothly. Not the case. There have been multiple reports, and now legal action by the EU, into dodgy billing by Spanish hospitals when foreign tourists attempt to present their European Health Insurance Card.
