Was Peter Lee, executive director of the California exchange — Covered California — using a faulty comparison when he stated last week that PPACA will reduce premiums in his state? Some people feel that he was leaving out large chunks of data. Most importantly, how much the price would increase for people purchasing private insurance in major urban areas of the state when compared with those in group plans.
