Investing in your 401(k) is supposed to help you provide income – ideally – after you stop working. But a study by NerdWallet recently found that the fees associated with managing your 401(K) could end up costing three years' of salary. That's right $150,000 to $200,000 in fees over the course of a lifetime for a household with two working adults paying into a 401(k). Did your retirement just get delayed a little longer?
