The automatic budget cuts known as the sequester that are currently being enacted — and felt — around the country will not include any staff from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. The office, which is implementing a significant share of the legislation is not furloughing any members of their staff and that is leading some Republicans to assert that the sequester has become politicized.
