When productivity specialist Claire Burge took a look at her own productivity levels, using a scaling system she designed herself, she measured her productivity at a depressing 23 percent. A major culprit for this was managing email, so she decided to eliminate email from her working practice and design a project management system that didn't use email at all, relying on social media and in-person meetings instead. The result? Reclaiming three hours a day, and seeing her productivity skyrocket from 23 percent to 68 percent over 10 months.
