Fiscal cliff: Will the states tumble, too?

If the economy does fall over the cliff, but doesn't plunge into a recession, states could actually see a little boost. Many states couple their tax codes to the federal law. If the tax cuts expire, 30 states could see an extra $3 billion in revenue when the estate tax reverts to its pre-2001 version.
