Perhaps you want to get ahead of an illness, but you're not quite symptomatic enough for insurance to pay for a professional. It's unlikely you would walk up to a stranger on the street and ask for medical advice, but what about posting your results on an online forum about cholesterol, for example? Would you trust a group of your peers whose only knowledge is based on their own experiences?
