LTC Global Inc. has picked a veteran marketing executive with years of experience in the banking and medical device industries to run its marketing operation.
Deborah Skiff will be the chief marketing officer at LTC Global, Fort Myers, Fla. LTC Global is a distributor of long-term care insurance (LTCI) and other senior market insurance products.
Skiff has been the company's vice president of business development.
Skiff has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in business from London Business School.
She started out as an assistant treasurer at Midland Bank, New York, and later was an international product manager at Philips Healthcare, a U.S. arm of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V., Eindhoven, the Netherlands (NYSE:PHG).
In 2005, she went to work for an insurance agency that was later acquired by LTC Global.
"Her experience will be of tremendous value as we continuously improve our marketing businesses," LTC Global Chief Executive Officer Richard Pitbladdo says in a statement.
Pitbladdo succeeded Deborah Skiff's father, Thomas Skiff, as CEO of LTC Global in December 2011. Pitbladdo previously was the company's chief financial officer, and he also was CEO of LTC Global from 2002 to 2004.
