The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee has called top federal financial regulators to appear Feb. 17 at a hearing on implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

The witnesses at the Dodd-Frank Act hearing will be Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve Board; Sheila Bair, chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.; Mary Schapiro, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission; and John Walsh, acting comptroller of the Currency.

The committee will be transmitting live video of the hearing on the Web.
