Employees of Needham, Mass.-based Provider Insurance — including, from left to right, Julie Wetherbee, Ruby Chan, Bill Darcey, Pete DiNardo, Patrick Darcey and Glen Davis — recently spent time volunteering for the Greater Boston Food Bank, bagging groceries for the organization's programs.
The group of six stuffed 550 bags for the food bank's BackPack program, which provides food for school children at risk of going hungry over a weekend or holiday. They also packed grocery bags for the food bank's Brown Bag program, which provides groceries to area seniors and families.
"This is a great way for us to connect with our community, reflect on how we can make a difference, and it's rewarding to know that you are helping such a worthy cause," said Bill Darcey, Provider's president and CEO.
