In response to "Seniors struggle with Medicare website"
Last year, when you would select three plans for comparison, the estimated annual cost for mail order was included. It would assist people trying to determine what plan would work best for them. With the new design, you must go to the plan detail to get the same mail order information. The old design was much easier.

In response to "Best tech tools and toys for the advisor"
There were those who knew the automobile would never make it so they kept their horse. They are still on their way to the meeting now. They apologize if they are a little late.

In response to "5 tips to take your website from good to great"
Cookie-cutter websites do not, I repeat, do not cut it. Original content needs to be designed by understanding the objective. That is, the website needs to be powerful to reduce abandonment rate, be rich in keywords, content needs to take the prospect through the sales process and take action, provide value, video to entertain the prospect with content to convert visitors to clients, a CRM is needed to follow up with prospects (no one prospect needs to fall through the cracks), attention to social media as a source of viral marketing, and much more. I have come to believe that a website needs a blueprint and a designer who fully understands the target and does not compromise.

In response to "Are doctors really dropping Medicare patients?"
Comment: This will undoubtedly cause a tremendous strain on the entire U.S. healthcare system to say the least! We are already experiencing a shortfall in PCPs. The only fear for the medical community is for the government to tie their medical license or pharmacy prescribing rights to participation in Medicare. Don't think for one second that the liberals have not already conjured up this notion.

A three-month wait for reimbursement angered my eye doctor. Also, in "rural" counties (1965 Medicare designation) like Monterey, Santa Cruz and Mendocino, Calif., it can be very difficult to find a doctor willing to take 25 percent less reimbursement than allowed in neighboring counties. I have seen my LTCI clients need up to three months to find someone who wants a new Medicare patient in Santa Cruz County. They must also have Plan F.
