No. I'm going to stay put for a while longer. I like my plan all right. I do take medicine for rheumatoid arthritis on occasion, but I'm pretty healthy for someone my age and I don't have a lot of prescriptions like some people. I suppose if I were to get sick or have to pay for an expensive medicine, I would have to reconsider. It's so confusing keeping up with all the changes. I guess I'll wait and see.

Yes. I asked my son to help me get on the computer and compare the different plans because I hadn't changed plans in a while. I have to take Lipitor for high cholesterol, and it can get pretty expensive, so we made the change to the Humana plan. It is going to save me a couple hundred dollars a year. I was on the AARP plan, which I liked, but the cost was quite a bit higher.

My wife took over that chore and found out that our plan was being merged with another plan. When we found out the details of the new plan, we weren't very happy, so we went to the Medicare website to plug in our information. We have several prescriptions between us and found the plans with the best coverage for each of us. We think we will actually be able to save some money on them next year.

I'm going to take a wait-and-see approach. If I don't like what happens next year, then I will change. By then, maybe some of the dust will have settled over all of this health care flap. Nobody really seems to know what's going to happen. I know my doctor isn't happy about the health law. But I don't know if that means things will get worse for us seniors or not.
