Investment Professionals Inc. (IPI) has acquired the bank and financial institution relationships of the wealth management division of Nexity Financial Corp.
Will Mackey, the founder and former chief executive of the Nexity Financial Services Inc. subsidiary of Nexity, Birmingham, Ala., will become business development director for financial institution relationships at IPI, San Antonio, IPI says.
David Doerflinger, the former chief operating officer of Nexity Financial Services, Belmont, N.C., will become a senior business development officer at IPI.
IPI runs broker-dealer operations in banks.
