The Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans plans to start 3 days of meetings in Washington Aug. 31.
The council, often called the ERISA Advisory Council, will study benefit plan auditing and financial reporting models.
The council also will discuss health care literacy and issues affecting women and minorities who participate in retirement plans and health plans.
