The Georgia Department of Community Health will continue to work with Longitude Health Inc. to help employers set up wellness programs.
The department will be having Longitude Health Inc., Somerset, N.J., manage the 1-year-old MyHealthVillage.com program for a second year.
Program managers use questionnaires, screening tests and personal coaching to help the employees at participating employers deal with conditions such as obesity and diabetes that could hurt their hearts and blood vessels.
Georgia has the option of renewing the Longitude contract for 3 additional years.
