Assurant Health, Milwaukee, a unit of Assurant Inc., New York (NYSE:AIZ), is introducing the new Assurant Clarity health insurance product in Denver, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas.
Customers can choose between a zero-deductible plan and one other plan design.
Assurant Health will send one consolidated monthly statement, and the company will pay a customer's health care providers directly.
An independent company will help consumers understand that health care system and compare provider prices, the company says.
