Humana Inc. and the Humana Foundation have donated $50,000 to a national Nashville flood relief telethon.
The telethon appeared on the Great American Country cable channel.
Humana, Louisville, Ky. (NYSE:HUM), has about 300,000 health plan enrollees in Tennessee. The company has been a featured sponsor of Nashville's Grand Ole Opry since 2006. The Grand Ole Opry Complex was one of the buildings inundated by the recent Central Tennessee flooding.
