Lincoln National Corp. has introduced a transaction monitoring service for 403(b) plan sponsors.

The feature will be part of the Lincoln Unifier Service package, which helps the nonprofit employers that sponsor 403(b) plans handle new federal 403(b) plan administration requirements.

Plan sponsors can use the service to assign 403(b) transaction compliance reviews to vendors and monitor vendor transactions and compliance through online reports, according to Lincoln, Radnor, Pa.

The service can warn the plan sponsor about vendors that may have processed transactions without putting the transactions through the proper reviews, Lincoln says.
