Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida has added pharmacy-based clinics to its provider network.
Florida Blue, Jacksonville, Fla., has agreed to cover enrollee visits to the Take Care Clinic walk-in clinics. Walgreen Company, Deerfield, Ill., has built the clinics into many of the Walgreens drugstores.
About 80% of all insured Florida residents now can use in-network benefits to visit the Take Care Clinics, Walgreen says.
