An insurance agency will be working with a fertility center and a pharmacy to offer an in vitro fertilization benefits program.
New Life Agency Inc., Buena Park, Calif., is starting the Assisted Reproduction Care Insurance Program together with the Diamond Institute, Millburn, N.J., and the specialty pharmacy unit of Walgreen Company, Deerfield, Ill.
The Diamond Institute is an IVF clinic.
The program will combine insurance coverage with a 50% discount on IVF services and related services.
The program also will offer discounts on fertility drugs from Walgreens pharmacies, New Life says.
New Life is a surplus lines company and a Lloyd's of London coverholder, the company says. It has been providing insurance for would-be parents, surrogates, egg donors and assisted reproduction industry professionals.
