A long term care insurance group has added a "rookie of the year" category to its annual awards program for LTC insurance producers.
The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, Westlake Village, Calif., is launching the eighth round of long term care sales achievement awards, which will recognize producers for 2009 LTC insurance sales production.
The rookie of the year category was added to recognize individuals who began selling LTC insurance last year, according to AALTCI Executive Director Jesse Slome. To qualify for the rookie category, a producer must have placed at least $2,500 in LTC insurance premiums in 2009.
