In response to "Is federal oversight in target-date funds' future?"
Target-date funds are just another example of the wonderful "buy and hold" strategy … or should I say "buy and hope!"
Personally I feel that target-date funds are a cop-out for advisors to do their jobs and watch over their clients portfolios properly.
The underlying stock overlap in many of the target-date funds is too high of a percentage. Which means clients are not getting the true diversification they should.

In response to "Beware the ticking E&O time bomb"
Six months into the new coverage I am sued by a client for an alleged event 10 years ago when I was covered by a different company. Am I covered?"
This would be covered as long as you have had no gaps in your E&O coverage for the past 10 years.
