The International Accounting Standards Board is organizing round table discussions on its fair value measurement proposals
IASB, London, plans to hold the North American discussion of the proposed fair value standards Nov. 2 in Norwalk, Conn., in the offices of the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
Changes in fair value standards affect the way insurers and other companies account for the value of securities holdings.
