Standard Insurance Company has introduced an employee-paid long-term disability insurance program.
Standard, a unit of StanCorpFinancial Group Inc., Portland, Ore., says the new Your Choice Group Voluntary Long Term Disability insurance product offers employees a choice of 3 maximum benefit period options, 6 benefit waiting periods, and monthly benefit amounts that can be selected in $100 increments.
The plan comes with an employee assistance program administered by Horizon Behavioral Services Inc., Lewisville, Texas.
