A Senate committee is holding a hearing next week to examine the life settlement industry.

The Senate Special Committee on Aging will meet at 2 p.m. EDT April 29 for a hearing on "Betting on Death in the Life Settlement Market–What's at Stake for Seniors?"

The hearing will be led by Sen. Herbert Kohl, D-Wis., chairman of the committee.

The committee has not yet posted information about viewing the hearing Webcast, but the committee says it soon will post Webcast information here.
