The Disability Management Employer Coalition has posted a paper that talks about ideas employers can use to improve tracking and reporting of absence.
The authors of the paper discuss topics such as assessing the scope of absence, identifying ways to persuade top executives that the benefits of managing absence more aggressively are worth the cost, and balancing incentives with disincentives, according to DMEC, San Diego.
