An insurer is easing requirements for small worksite short-term disability groups.
Aflac Inc., Columbus, Ga., says it is reducing the minimum size requirement for the STD policy to 3 full-time employees, from 5 full-time employees.
Aflac is making the change in response to a "challenging economy," the company says.
