Ebix Inc. says it can perform work in a new building in Noida, India, free of taxes until March 31, 2014.
Ebix, Atlanta, a company that runs the AnnuityNet system and sells other technology products and services to insurers, says it already had owned 2 buildings in Noida and now has bought a third building.
Activities in the third building qualify for Software Export Zone Act status, Ebix says.
Even after tax-free status expires, operations in the third building will qualify for 50% tax-free status until March 31, 2019, Ebix says.
