Health savings account assets grew significantly between the first and second quarters of the year.
Researchers at Canopy Financial Inc., San Francisco, have published HSA figures in the second in a new series of HSA market reports.
The average individual HSA balance increased 19%, to $969, between the first and second quarters, and the average family HSA balance increased 18%, to $1,663, the researchers say.
Figures from 2007 were not available.
