An employee benefits player has built new services into its group term life and group long term disability insurance policies.
Assurant Employee Benefits, Kansas City, Mo., a unit of Assurant Inc., New York, says it will be bundling financial counseling services and disability and elder care referral resources into group LTD plans at no extra cost.
Assurant also will be offering will preparation services with group term life programs at no extra cost.
Outside vendors will provide the services, Assurant says.
