Global Life Underwriting L.L.C. says it will be selling life expectancy reports based on the 2008 Valuation Basic Table Relative Risk mortality tables to participants in the life settlement market.
The 2008 VBT Relative Risk mortality tables include data on 700,000 deaths involving individuals covered by fully underwritten life insurance policies, according to GLU, Los Angeles.
GLU says it is offering the VBT life expectancy reports because another life expectancy report provider may be shifting to a new methodology.
