Wm. Page & Associates Inc., a life settlement firm, says its average transaction size increased 80%, from $1.4 million to $2.5 million in the past year.
The company, in Atlanta, says it reviewed nearly $15 billion dollars worth of life insurance policies in the past year, up 300% over 2007.
The company now manages a total of more than $500 million in life policy face amounts, it says.
