A managed care company is supporting an international health improvement program.
CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, has donated $1 million to the Wye River Group on Healthcare, Austin, Texas, to help it start the Global Knowledge Exchange Network.
The network will bring experts from around the world together twice a year.
Meeting participants will look for ways to use technology, process improvements and other ideas to improve health care, organizers say.
